Managing Partner
Joshua K. Crawford (Josh) is the managing partner for Kulas Crawford & Smith.
Josh earned his Juris Doctor graduating in the top 8% of his class from the Florida State University College of Law in 2013.
During law school, Josh spent his summer breaks learning the details of estate planning and elder law as an intern with Robert J. Kulas the founder of Kulas Crawford & Smith. Additionally, while attending school in Tallahassee, Josh worked for the Florida Attorney General in the Economic Crimes Division as a law clerk. Academically, Josh distinguished himself as a member of the Florida State University Law Review and earned numerous Book Awards for scholastic achievement.
After graduating law school, Josh joined the estate planning and elder law firm Kulas Crawford & Smith as an associate attorney. In that position, until January 2022, Josh helped thousands of families with estate planning issues and elder law issues.
As of January 2022, Josh bought the law business from Robert J. Kulas and re-organized the firm into Kulas Crawford & Smith to make way for Robert’s retirement. Since 2022, Josh is the managing partner and majority owner of Kulas Crawford & Smith.

Josh’s down time is spent with his family including his wife, Kayla, their son, Jameson, and their daughter, Kinsley. They enjoy traveling, various water activities and are avid theme park connoisseurs. Devoted to his own family, Josh is committed to helping your family achieve their wishes in a manner that accomplishes your goals in the simplest manner possible.
